Jason is an attorney, global advisor, and political consultant whose made a career working with world leaders, NGOs, and multinational corporations. In founding The Emert Group, Jason leverages almost twenty years of experience specializing in public affairs, government relations, political consulting, campaign compliance, and strategic communication.
Jason is no stranger to political organizations. Most recently, he led one of the largest political organizations in the United States, the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) having been elected overwhelming by a broad national coalition. As chairman, he led a time of unprecedented growth raising more money and registering more members than at any point in the organization's almost century-old history while simultaneously bringing the federation back in compliance with federal election and campaign finance law. Prior to YRNF, Jason led the largest global center-right youth organization, the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU). IYDU had a membership representing more than eighty political youth organizations from over sixty countries.
Jason has worked on numerous state and national campaigns, including serving as national young professional co-chair for Senator Ted Cruz's presidential campaign. Similarly, Jason has served as an advisor to political action committees and trade association groups. He has developed many person and professional relationships with administration officials, members of congress, governors, state constitutional officers, state legislators, and numerous staff members. As a trusted consultant Jason has appeared many times as a political commentator in media. Similarly, Jason has served on multiple international election observations and was tasked by the governor of Puerto Rico with assembling an international delegation comprised of current and former congressmen, state legislators, and foreign members of parliament.
Additionally, Jason has trained hundreds party leaders, campaign staffers, and candidates around the world as a member of the Leadership Institute's adjunct faculty. He's received several awards for leadership, including: Knox.biz Greater Knoxville 40 under 40; The Daily Advertiser Acadiana 20 under 40; Young Republican National Federation Man of the Year; ”Future 40" by Maverick PAC; “Future Leader in Foreign Policy” by the Foreign Policy Initiative; and selected for delegations by the American Council of Young Political Leaders, American Swiss Foundation, U.S. Mexico Foundation, and the Qatar-America Institute.
